I was thinking to start blogging quite some time ago, around 4 years ago or even more. Every time I had something on the way such as more important revenue producing projects, custom projects that I do for a few clients, the lack of time, family, work, even minor things like not having my own blog theme or the lack of the desire to look for a good domain name. Overall, I think I was just looking for an excuse.
You may know that I have quite a few websites, and many users asked if I had a blog. Some were pretty disappointed to hear that I only use twitter to update the statuses of my projects and advised me to start blogging. It wasn’t something that I didn’t have in mind already, just couldn’t get to it at that time…
I guess now is the time. I finally got everything set up and running. I bought this domain name a few months ago while going through the list of expired ones, finished with a theme this weekend and now I finally set it all up on one of my servers.
I use twitter, facebook and update my microblogs on a regular basis, hopefully I will have enough useful information to keep this blog active as well. I don’t intend to write daily at this point, just when I feel that I have something good to say.
As for the goals and purpose, the primary reason to start this blog was to keep users updated on my web sites. Now I have other plans, such as talk about web hacks and tools, programming, web development, SEO, SEM, affiliate marketing, project updates, general things that are of any interest to me such as stock market updates and may be some other topics.
Anyway, I think this is enough for introduction. Please let me know how you like the theme and if you have any suggestions.
